Normanton on Soar Village Hall

Normanton on Soar Village Hall is home to a number of regular community groups and activities that bring people together throughout the month. From friendly coffee mornings and craft sessions to lively youth club events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. These regular users help keep the hall at the heart of village life, offering opportunities for connection, creativity, and support. Dance like no one is watching at an ‘On Broadway®’ Dance Fitness class! We learn fabulous dance routines to songs from popular West End shows and have lots of giggles whilst doing so. We are passionate about providing women with a fun and non-judgemental way to exercise in local venues across Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire! 2 left feet & accidental solos are welcome here, try a free taster class and learn how to reveal your inner show girl!

Does your dog love to sniff? Learn new skills with your canine partner – small groups suitable for beginner dogs & handlers.  All dogs/any age can actively participate,  Physical workout, burns excess energy.  Mental stimulation reduces anxiety & creates happy canines.

Kegworth Vintage Agricultural Club (KVAC) is a group of likeminded people who meet monthly to discuss different aspects of agriculture. Along with other associated topics and speakers. Some members have collections of tractors and implements, others are just interested in vintage machinery. Anyone wanting to join is very welcome.

Come and join our small friendly group and learn the art of T’ai chi. Learning and practicing the T’ai chi form and the breathing and stretching exercises we teach is a relaxing way to keep active, develop better posture and remain supple.

Normanton WI are a small vibrant group of ladies who always welcome new members to join us. During the year we have a variety of speakers and, within the group, we have lunch groups, walking groups and craft sessions available to discover.  Outings are organised based on suggestions from members.
